What a Ride! Big smile  Not a slow ride, but very well organized and truly a no drop ride. There were, it seemed, at least 40 riders. All were friendly and everyone was just out to enjoyed the ride. It was about a 20 mile ride and we regrouped three times. Mark, of David's Pizza was hard at work when we returned for a great pizza feast! All in all, a super fun evening! My thanks to Geoff and the crew at Two Wheel Transit! Clap
 
To bad this was their end of the year ride. I'm definitely planning to make this ride part of my summer schedule for 2011.  bikerHen

The sun is out and shining again! Two Wheel Transit has invited WOW members to their end of the season shop ride and pizza party. Yummmm! Ride leaves Two Wheel Transit Thursday evening at 5:30 and will ride the loop out to seven mile and back via the Centennial Trail. This is a no drop ride. Let's get out and enjoy one more evening ride, with David's Pizza when we get back. I'll be there. Hope to see you there too. I'm riding from my house to Deer Park on Saturday. The ride, out and back, is about 35 ish miles, mostly flat with some rollers, no big hills.

Anyone want to do the Lilac Century Surprise (sort of) 50 mile route on Saturday?
Meet: 10 am at the Downriver Grill (no parking in the lot)
Mileage: around 40 more or less
some hills and rollers, varied
eat: afterwards at the Smiling (or Laughing) Goat
Let us know if you plan to join us by 9:00 am on Saturday am!

Cheryl, I'll be doing the Tour Des Lacs on 9/19 and having my surgery on 9/23, so I'll be out of commission for 9/30, as far as I know. I might be able to do something on crutches, but can't commit to anything, right now.

Anyone else out there able to help at the kids races?  It's lots of fun and rewarding to help get kids off the couch and out doing fun stuff in the outdoors.  Let me know which day you would like to do.
