WOW Events

Welcome WOW members and visitors.

Our August meeting will be at Riverside State Park. Meet at the Bowl and Pitcher campground. The campsite number will be sent to members before the meeting. We’ll be having a pot luck BBQ after the ride. WOW will provide hamburgers with all the fixins’ and everything needed for S’mores. Members bring a side dish to share and something for you to drink. Be ready to ride at 6PM. We hope to offer a road ride and mountain bike ride. If you can’t make the ride, come for the food and fun!

We still have lots of riding planned:
We have another family ride Saturday, August 21st. This time we’re riding the Hiawatha Rail Trail. Meet at Stateline at 8AM to carpool to the trail. This will be an all day trip. Pack a picnic lunch, bring plenty of water and don’t forget your headlight!

Up next, Spokane’s Summer Parkways on Sunday, August 22nd. Those who participated in the first Parkway ride had a great time. Volunteer to help or just come out and ride.

The pancake ride is Sunday, August 29th. Green Bluff Grange is having their annual “Peach Extravaganza”, which means lots of fresh peaches in and on your pancakes. Yummmm! Meet at Yokes Market at 8AM.

Mark your calandars for the Annual GHC Kids Races. Sunday, September 19th at Mirabeau Park and Sunday, September 26th at Shadle Park. This is an event WOW has supported and helped for a number of years. It’s lots of fun. Plan on spending the day or come help for just a bit.
